Take a moment and think back. Have you ever read someone’s story and think, “This is exactly what I needed to hear today?” Your story will do that for someone else.
How it works/What you get:
Collaborate directly with me on your story. We will discuss “the hero’s journey”, story structure, and the elements of a story. This will take a few weekly phone/zoom calls before solidifying on your story. (If you already have a story, this will cut this process in half)
I will work closely with you to come up with sketches for each page/spread of the book
I will create a book dummy which is a physical draft of the book in sketch form. This will inform us of flow, composition, and intent.
Once sketches are agreed upon, you’ll get two rounds of revisions for each page/spread to make sure the drawings are just right!
When complete, we will again take a look at it in book form to ensure drawings are fluid and consistent and writing is readable.
All files will be created for your printer of choice (they will usually have a template or file recommendations) or eBook ready. You will get a copy of the PDF book as well as hi res files of each drawing.
You’ll also get a additional digital files for social media including 2 icons, 2 banners, and details created in the making of the book (patterns etc)
This process takes between 2-6 months depending on the amount of illustrations and details.
