As moms, we want to find our sense of peace and be reminded that the hard moments are temporary.
The problem is that sometimes we have nothing to look to. Nothing to showcase those tough moments in a way that reminds us of their fleeting nature. We get caught up in the daily chores of life and feel weak. But we’re not. We feel lost, but we’re not. What we do takes insane amounts of empathy, strength and courage. We need reminders that holding a family together represents a piece of you, but not the whole pie. For this reason, I’ve decided to open up my time to do more portraits for moms and their families.
Portraits for Mamas
I want to represent you, or you and your family through a piece of artwork. One that reminds you of the joy in the little things, the big things and even the hard things, but more importantly, one that showcases your strength as a mother.
This is your chance to hand pick the details of you and your family that mean the most to you. The ones that remind you of what’s on the other side of the frustrating times. This is the chance to have something you can look at and see the joys of the past so you can count on the future. These times are temporary, so I want to give you something tangible that captures this time in a unique and loving way. The way that YOU want it to be captured.
This isn’t a drawing. This is your story.
How it works / What you get:
Collaborate directly with me on something that will represent you and your child or you and your family!
We’ll jump on a 15 minute call and talk about your story and what you want to showcase.
You will send pictures for me to use to compose the image, and can hand pick certain details within you or your family's life that have significant value to be included in the image.
You’ll get one round of revisions for the drawing to make sure it’s just right!
You’ll receive a high quality digital file, perfect for next years christmas cards, a gift for grandma or a sweet social media post.
I’ll set it up for a 12X12 archival print (which is a fancy way of saying that this will last a LONG TIME) to be sent directly to your door. You won’t need to do anything on that end. You can of course get other sizes at an additional cost.
You’ll also get a personal note from ME saying thank you for letting me be a small part of the story you’re creating.

What this is NOT.
This is not a formulaic approach to a family portrait. I spend a GREAT amount of time putting together the RIGHT details for you and your family, based on what YOU’RE looking for in your drawing. Many artists simply copy a photo, which results in an impersonal, stagnant character with little to no sense of depth or personality. If that’s what you’re looking for, there are plenty of artists that will give you that very thing for cheaper than what I charge, but there are VERY FEW that will do what I do for as little as I charge.
I’m not copying your photo’s, I’m creating your vision.
